On Friday night we had dinner at Rosy Tomorrow's a unique historic eatery in Danbury.
Mer and Jord ...uhhh,are you guys like, finally ready to order?
I love cute guys ...who can fly. I met one on Friday night.
Fun with Family. On Saturday I went up Hartford with my Dad and various family members to visit my Aunt. Here Jord and I pose in Daddy's cap. I think I look better, she thinks she looks better. Cat looks on, offering no opinion. Guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
Did you ever see the movie Phone Booth? Jord and I are auditioning for a remake.
We had lunch a Rockledge Country Club in West Hartford. Outdoor dining overlooking a golf course.
The long ride home... In this triptych Jordan attempts to entertain herself by playing games and sending text messages from a "purely functional" Nokia 6010.
Dashboard Diva - Jordan sprawled on the hood of my Acura MDX. Photo taken from driver's seat.
Jordan was bored again so she decided to lie down next to a cactus plant.
Got back to Danbury at about four. The afternoon was beautiful so we headed right over to our beautiful local golf course, Richter Park, for a drink on the patio.
Later we hit the road for Bethel and the nostalgic Sycamore Diner it's a real throwback to the 50s. I made this montage of the neon signs and a shot of the interior. The Dagwood Burger is incredible, I highly recommend it and...
...Saturday night is Cruise Night at the Sycamore...featuring classic cars and live music.
What is it with me and old cars? I just love them...specially red ones!
Sexy Interior - Got this shot just before we left. Check out the reflection in the glass and the swimsuit girl inside.
Montage of cool old car's and and a retro gas pump. Note: that's Cat's shadow on the fule pump.
Ice Cream Dreams - We ended the evening at Il Bacio. Here's Jordan trying to decide what to order. As always she ended up with a plain chocolate cone.
Sunday was beautiful. About noon I left for Kent and the Antique Machinery Festival. Passed this covered bridge along the way...so New England.
The first thing I saw at the festival was an old tractor with a funny name...at least I found it funny.
